In order to provide the ultimate security for end users, BiLock will only be available for sale in local markets by limited and exclusive distribution. Once a keying system is established, only the original dealer may provide additional keys and locks. This assures the end user that unauthorized keys will never be available by mistake.
Local exclusivity is dependant upon the size and makeup of the dealer and the concentration of homes and businesses in the market. A business with six employees and 4 trucks could cover a rural county or just a section of a major urban city.
To service BiLock locally, the dealer will need to make a substantial investment in key cutting equipment and pinning supplies and fixtures. This is another reason for exclusive markets. A locksmith who makes an investment in the line is assured a fair market in which to compete.
From time to time, BiLock will offer an incentive for a locksmith to establish a new market. See the flyer to the right for the current special.
